Install the PowerPoint add-in

Add Oria to PowerPoint, open it from the ribbon and sign in with your Oria account

The Oria add-in puts Oria in a panel next to your slides in PowerPoint. It turns rough text, sketches and existing slides into designed slides that stay editable in your deck. Installing it takes a couple of minutes.

Install Oria

  1. Open the Oria listing

Open Oria on Microsoft Marketplace and click Get it now.

  2. Sign in to Microsoft

Sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Office. If you have a work or school account, use that one.

  3. Open in PowerPoint

Microsoft sends you to a launch page. Click Open in PowerPoint. PowerPoint starts, loads Oria and opens the Oria panel on the right.

You can also add Oria from inside PowerPoint, including PowerPoint on the web. Select Add-ins on the Home tab (in older versions, Insert > Get Add-ins), search for Oria and click Add.

The same steps, with a short video, are on the Oria for PPTX page in your Oria account.

Install for your whole organization

If your company manages Office add-ins centrally, a Microsoft 365 admin can deploy Oria to chosen users or groups from Integrated apps in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Oria then appears in PowerPoint for those people without them installing it, although it can take a while to show up. If your organization blocks add-ins, ask your admin to deploy or allow Oria.

Open Oria and sign in

  1. Open the Oria panel

On the Home tab, click Oria. The Oria panel opens to the right of your slides.

  2. Enter your email

Type the email you use for your Oria account and click Continue. New to Oria? The same step creates your account.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code

We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in, and Oria signs you in as soon as the last digit is entered. If the email hasn't arrived, check your spam folder, or click Resend code once the 30-second timer ends.

After you sign in, Oria offers a guided tour of its main features that takes about two minutes. Close it whenever you like and replay it later with Onboarding in the panel.

Oria keeps you signed in on that computer, across PowerPoint windows. To sign out, click Profile in the Oria panel, then Log Out, or Sign out of all devices to end every session.

Once you've used Oria in a presentation, its panel opens automatically the next time you open that file.
