Your data, your control
Oria turns your prompts, slides and brand files into presentations. This section explains what happens to that content, where it's stored and who processes it. The binding commitments are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and these pages summarize them.
Data ownership
Oria doesn't claim ownership of the content you bring to it, such as prompts, slide text, screenshots, reference designs and brand files. We use it only to provide Oria to you, support you, fix problems, keep the service secure and, where your plan allows, improve your product experience.
Oria does not use your content to train AI models. This is written into our Terms of Use and applies on every plan. We don't sell your slide content or prompts.
How long Oria keeps your content depends on your plan. On Professional and Team, Oria doesn't keep your presentation content once your slides are delivered, apart from styles you choose to save. See Data storage for the details of each plan.
Access control
- Sign-in: You sign in with your email address and a one-time code that we email to you
- Connecting Claude: Claude connects through OAuth, so it never sees your sign-in code, and the access it receives only works for the Oria connector
- Scoped access: The PowerPoint add-in asks PowerPoint only for permission to read and change the presentation you have open, and it sends Oria the slides and files you choose to work on
- Isolated by account: Every request to Oria's API carries a token tied to your account, and Oria only returns the presentations, styles and files that belong to you or, for shared company styles, to your team
- Disconnect anytime: Remove the Oria connector in Claude's connector settings, or remove the add-in from PowerPoint, whenever you want
- Deletion: Delete saved styles yourself at any time, and contact us to close your account or have your personal information deleted
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Get a copy of certain information in a portable format
- Restrict or object to some kinds of processing
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time
